Tucker only became a city in 2016, but its Main Street has been the heart of this corner of DeKalb County since the railroad days. Around it spread decades of neighborhoods, from older brick ranches to newer townhomes. Hank here. My crew at Mars Appliance Repair fixes refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, wine coolers, ovens and ranges in Tucker, with same- or next-day visits.

French-door ice boxes that pack solid, dispensers that drip.
freezers that frost at the door or let food soften.
in-door ice makers, jammed augers and stuck chutes.
wine coolers fogging inside or failing to hold temperature.
ovens that run hot, cold or not at all.
burners, elements and igniters on gas and electric ranges.
Many French-door refrigerators keep the ice maker in a small insulated box on the inside of the left fridge door. It's a clever use of space, but that little compartment has to stay below freezing while it sits in a fridge kept around 37°F. When cold air leaks out of it, or warm air leaks in, you'll notice:
Here's what to check:
Clearing the ice by hand is fine: take out the bucket, let it thaw in the sink and dry the compartment. Don't use a hair dryer close to the plastic or a knife on the walls. If the ice is back in a week or two, a fan, a heater or a sensor in the cold-air path may be failing, and that's a job for a tech.
A few drops after you fill a glass are normal. Water left in the line at the end of each fill simply runs out. Steady dripping that goes on for minutes, or a puddle on the floor in the morning, is not. The usual suspects:
Wipe up the water, put a towel down and note when the drips happen. If they continue long after you dispense, close the water valve behind the fridge and book a visit. Can't find a valve back there? In many homes the fridge line branches off a valve under the kitchen sink, and in houses with a basement it may start at a valve below the kitchen. Knowing where yours is saves a lot of mopping when a leak starts at night.
A wine cooler's glass door lets you see your bottles, which is also why fog on that glass gets noticed fast. Fog on the outside of the door on a humid day is condensation from room air and nothing to worry about. Fog or drops on the inside are another matter.
Check the seal with a sheet of paper: close the door on it and tug. If it slips out easily at any spot, the seal is weak there. Fog that stays all the time, water collecting inside or labels peeling from the damp all mean a visit is due. Until then, keep the door closed as much as you can and move the cooler out of direct sun if it's freestanding.
Booking: call or send the form. A person answers 24/7 and books a same- or next-day slot that fits your day.
Diagnosis: the tech checks power, water, gas and settings, then tests the parts connected to the symptom and shows you what has failed.
Repair: after your OK, genuine or OEM-approved parts go in, and the tech runs the appliance to confirm the fix. You get up to 6 months of warranty, and our labor is part of it.

Tucker visits can be same- or next-day. A call before noon leaves the most windows open.
Warm air is getting into the compartment, through its seal, the chute flap or a bucket that isn't seated. If it comes back fast, a part in the cold-air path may be failing.
A few drops, yes. Dripping that goes on for minutes or leaves a puddle points to air in the line, a loose filter or the inlet valve.
Fog that clears after you open the door is normal in humid weather. Fog that stays, or water on the floor of the cooler, means the seal or the drain needs attention.
Yes. Pull the bucket, thaw it in the sink and dry the compartment. Skip sharp tools and hot air near the plastic.
